Richard Felber,
Second-Story Serene
Why we love it:
- Creating your own waves as you dive into the water is always a part of pool fun. The glossy look is achieved when water brims through a half-inch opening into a perimeter runnel, preserving the smooth and serene surface.
- The George III terra-cotta shell fountain at the far end of the pool functions as a holding tank.
- The pool is located on the second story of the house, yielding great views and an even better utilization of space.
- For a tropical air, the designer chose plants such as sea grape trees.
- A pergola draped in vines provides an elegant oasis from the south Florida sun.
