Tropical Tradition
Designer Jenny Peters enlivened the terrace behind her early 20th-century Miami home with tropical influences that speak to
the period. Common among older area dwellings, these spaces were designed to maximize cool ocean breezes while sheltering
owners from South Florida thunderstorms.
