Rosa 'Graham Thomas'

Acquiring the historic North Carolina property in the mid-1950s, Helen Blake Watkins made her home at Chatwood until her death in the early '90s. She searched Hillsborough's homesteads, cemeteries, and roadsides for old roses, which she clipped and replanted in her English-style garden. Here are a few beautiful examples of Watkins' legacy of roses.
