Pump up the color with accents.
“One area where you can use yellow as a big accent is porcelain -- bright yellow porcelains tend to work really well as a
decorative contrast,” Jayne says. “Ceramics are one area where you can easily err to brightness.” You might also bring in
dabs of yellow through artwork, small pillows, or throws.
In this space: Bolster pillows and a Chinese garden seat sprinkle a few easily changeable yellow touches into this space. The radiant color
picks up the yellow tones found in the room’s green fabrics.
