The arched entrances and trussed ceiling of the living room project a strong Tudor point of view, though “a true Cotswold
cottage would cluster tiny little rooms with 8-foot ceilings,” says Boerder. “In order to bring this style over to the U.S.
and make it a grand entertaining room, we made the entire 1.5-story central cottage into this one large, open room.”
