General tour information
The links on the virtual tour page use the
iPIX
browser plugin to view the virtual tours. A plugin is a small
extention that is download and added to your computer.
Your computer may already have the iPIX plugin.
If the room photos begin to display, you have the plugin. If you
see only a grey box or a broken link, follow the downloading instructions
below
Click
this link to download the iPIX plugin to your computer desktop.
The download time is very short. Double click the plugin installer
and follow the instructions given. Quit and restart your browser
to activate the plugin. You're ready to begin.
Getting around inside the tour
Click and hold the mouse to navigate. The hand points in the direction
you'll move. Move the hand toward the center of the image to slow
your movement.
Hover slightly above the center point to get the zoom tool.
Hover slightly below the center point to get the reverse zoom tool.
Changing your viewpoint in the virtual tour may
take a little practice.
Begin by using the mouse to place the cursor inside
the photograph. The cursor will change to an arrow or a hand depending
upon your browser. Move and click the cursor over the photograph
to rotate your point of view. Move toward the center of the photograph
to slow your rotation.
To zoom in on a certain object in the photo press
the + (plus) key. You should see a magnifying glass with a plus
sign. The plus sign will zoom into the photograph when you click
the mouse. To zoom out press the - (minus) key. The minus is used
to zoom to a wider angle of view.
You can also zoom in by hovering the cursor slightly
above the exact center of the image without holding down the mouse
button. Hovering slightly below the center point will display the
minus sign.
