The Randle Breakfast Room
Ann Holden, of the New Orleans design firm Holden & Dupuy, created this chic room in Houston. Ann herself is a very fashionable woman. With shoulder-length blonde hair and a penchant for well-tailored pants suits, she epitomizes the breezy elegance for which New Orleans women are famous. Her style is much in evidence here, with the fabulous striped fabric (run on the horizontal) on the dining chairs, and satin curtains framing the windows. And underneath it all, bare hardwood floors -- like bare feet on a well-dressed woman.
If this room were ... It would be ...
A car A silver Lexus sedan
An outfit A J.Crew sweater with Prada pants
A cocktail A Champagne cocktail
