| The Beall Master Bedroom |
|
 |
The master bedroom in Kreis Beall's cabin in
Cashiers, North Carolina, reflects her personal style with elements that
would make any bedroom a destination. Charleston designer Kathleen Rivers
crafted the look, which is defined by the wonderful contrast of embroidered
and checked fabrics. I love the mix of refined and rustic -- alabaster
lamps against the log cabin walls, the fur throw over a matelasse coverlet,
English botanicals over twig tables. The idea I want to steal here: the
swing-arm lamps mounted inside the bed's hanging canopy, with shades
made from the same fabric.

A vintage Fiat convertible |

A mink-trimmed tweed suit with suede boots |
| A cocktail |
A Scotch and water |
