The Belle Meade Kennel Room |
|
 |
In the center of this picture is a furry brown
Griffon who recently won a prestigious award at a fancy dog show. His
belligerent look is not to be taken lightly. The day I toured this
Nashville room, accompanied by the pack of dogs who sleep there, in the
midst of all the wagging tails and sloppy kisses, I looked down to see one
brown face growling and nipping at my fingers. I'm afraid to say, I
think fame may have gone to his head. Despite his best efforts, I got
a good look at this fabulous room. And I took away a great idea: use
your silver Revere bowls for the dog's water. Mine were displaying
shells in the living room, but now they serve much better, giving my plain,
brown, undecorated dog a vessel that makes her feel like a champion.
