| The Color You Need Now ... Eucalyptus Green |
| Embrace good taste in your holiday decorating with this fashionable and versatile silvery-sage hue |
 |
by Jane Dupuy Photos by Andreas von Einsiedel (room) and Ralph Anderson (product)
With the fashion and home-design industries touting the use of opaque swathes of intense greens, plums, and rusts, the enduring elegance of eucalyptus green offers a breath of fresh air.
During the holiday season, next to bright red, it's a kind catalyst. When its silver tones play off iridescent silks and other metals, its more colorful personality comes out in casts of green and blue.
We like it as trim on everything from napkins to holiday packages, as well as
when it's used more long-term as upholstery and wall color in rooms begging
for calm and good taste. The room pictured above, by British designer David Carter, shows the color at its best.
