· Showcase a collection. Moore displays a
collection of vintage toys and holiday keepsakes dating back to the early
1900s. The centerpiece is based on an illustration from the book Santa
Calls, by author and Shreveport resident William Joyce.
· Bring fun to the table. Tiny hands will enjoy
handling small toys, reading books, and nibbling on candies. But this
isn't just child's play. Adult guests will be delighted to
relive memories of Christmases past.
· Use seasonal colors in a traditional way. Moore capitalizes on time-honored red and green by using them in
conjunction with the iconic images of Christmas, including candy canes,
gingerbread men, and holly berries.
