When they start to bloom at the beginning of summer,
providing a welcome shot of color and feeling of abundance, we're
tempted to trim them all for endless floral arrangements. Fortunately,
hydrangea blooms last a long time, sometimes until the first frost.
We asked organic farmer turned floral designer Marjorie Imus at MingleWood in
Winston-Salem, North Carolina, to share her ideas for using hydrangeas in
gorgeous early summer arrangements.
