I showcased ruffled parrot tulips -- the frilled edge, feathery variety -- in a container that is tall enough to surround the flowers. The arrangement almost looks like a work of art. I started with a piece of floral foam surrounded on all sides by rose and parrot tulip petals, and then covered the top of the foam with 'Kermit' mums, which I cut short and inserted like a moss covering. Submerging the foam and petals in water keeps the arrangement fresh and adds another interesting element.
