As editor of Book Club, I get advance notice of upcoming releases. One I would read is Amarcord: Marcella Remembers by Marcella Hazan (due out October 2008, Gotham Books, $28). Her memoir traces her journey from small-town science teacher in Italy to food fame worldwide.
